3rd Post Today!

Well, I realized how simple this is today and it is my first day of being in the unemployed lawyer business...so...here is my 3rd post of the day. A few pictures from the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. All three were shot with the Olympus 70-300mm lens.

HDR Photos From My Caribbean Vacation

This is the view from Richies Restaurant in Puerto Rico. The storm clouds were threatening so Yuli and I had to keep moving back and forth under cover. This panorama is about 5 different portrait format pictures stitched together. First, however, I had to make each panel of the panorama an HDR image, which involves blending the details from three or more original pictures.

The pictures that follow are simpler. They usually only involve three or more exposures of the same image at differing exposure values. Yuli still got mad at me for wanting to make them all of the time.

My First Post

In an effort to get better at sharing the photographs I take, I am creating this blog. Now, let's hopt that I can keep it updated. So, without further ado...here I am.:)

I finally bought some cheap lightstands and speedlights (about $120 worth). This picture was taken with one main speedlight to camera left at chest level. There is another speedlight to camera right at ground level aimed at my back. Pretty cool, huh?
